According to the Order given by the Ministry of Health 15/1972.VIII., modified by the Act of XCIII. in 1993 each employer has to have employees well-trained in first-aid. Due to the presence of first-aid personnels at workplaces the growth rate of health loss is reducible in case of sickness or accidents!

3/2002. (II.8.) SzCsM-Ministry of Health’s Common Order

20.

(1) Every workplace and shift of work has to have a first-aid equipment or first-aid kit adjusted to the measure of the danger of the working process and the number of workers, also there should be a trained person in presence appointed to perform first-aid if it is needed.

(5) All the other requirements in connection with the first-aid equipment, the establishment of the first-aid room and the organizing of first-aid acts, also the regulations concerning the training and the extension training of appointed first-aid personnels are provided by a separate statute.
 

15/1972. (VIII.5.) Ministry of Health’s Order

20. The training should comprise:

- the professional use of medicines, materials and equipments ((further on: first-aid kit) used in application of first-aid,

- checking bleeding,

- tending wounds (covering and binding)

- revivification procedures (artificial respiration by blow-in, exterior heart-massage)

- immobilization of the damaged body-part

- laying and transporting of the injured

- specialized first-aid actions according to the nature of the given workplace

- the most important information about how to make use of a doctor or the National Ambulance Service and the application of all these in practice.
